Okay, I get it, a bright and just-woke-up-crying lips is not for everyone, some of us would like a 20s bare pink innocent lips. Like the one that straight up reminds us of Katrina, Britney or, Selena Gomez’s pouty lips.

NYX buttergloss is a cult favorite since years and I can see why. They cost almost nothing but delivers what a top-tier product could offer. It’s moisturizing (not hydrating), very buttery – almost balmy to the lips. The colour payoff is not sheer, it’s quite pink on the lips and I’d suggest you to wear lipliner with this one.

Or, maybe don’t. Eclair is a good pick for a natural flush look like the 2000s.

 

DIOR Lip Glow Oil

I’m done pretending that drugstores are winning the gloss game. I mean, they probably are but nothing will ever beat the DIOR glow.

A friendly reminder that I’ll not be responsible if the person reading this goes broke or becomes obsessed with the shade.

It’s a luxury, and it feels like a luxury. The formula is like a slip to the lips, much opposed to the traditional sticky-feeling. But it still have the sticky texture to it. This almost looks like if you’ve applied sheer gel-polish to your lips. It’s moisturizing, hydrating, and perfect for a go-to look.

It feels like a hug on the lips too, loved it.

 

Tower 28 ShineOn Milky Lip Jelly

Sorry to disappoint you, this isn’t actually green or mint – but the perfect bunny-tongue shade.

If you have been on TikTok for a while, people have been going crazy over one shade that resembles bunny’s tongue – a pleasant pink shade. I think I found the one that suits my imagination for it. Tower28’s Pistachio it is!

It’s a my-lips-but-better-and-shinier shade, makes my lips fuller, plump and stays all day. If you are someone who can’t stand glosses for their sticky formula, this is the one that’s gonna change your mind.

 

NYX Fat Oil Lip Drip 

I’m not done with NYX yet, they’ve had the best formulas in recent years.

Whoever loved the Dior one but couldn’t get it due to the price, I’ve got news for you. This is the perfect dupe of the Dior applicator, but the formula is more slippery. The color payoff is sheer and more of a just-bit-my-lips look.

When they said it’s a Fat lipgloss, they meant it. The packaging is short and chubby and so is the applicator. It has this weird spell that gets you addicted to hug the applicator with your lips every now and then. The scent is doable, not like those on-your-face perfumes.

If you like a mirror-ish slippery pink look on your lips, you have your gem.
